Matching knits

So my mom has abandoned me to my fate in matters of sewing this winter. Which is resulting in some bittersweet projects. But as compensation, she has taken up knitting and she has put together some cool stuff for us.

Inspired on Nanos AW15 knits collection

The most recent one, these two dusty pink 100% Merino Wool pullovers, perfect for wintery 2015. From the colors, to the pattern, to the trimming on the bottom, they can't be any more fashionable and in style right now. Me like it!

So much effort...

And it came out too big

And that is just one of the many flaws of my second liberty autumn dress for bird #2.

Scrap Ping

Not that I am particularly fond of rompers, which I am...what I really like is to maximize resources and the fact that you can get a diaper cover from a left over scrap of fabric, motivates me to the max!

Last winter, stars were a hit in children’s fashion.

Baby Romper Second Edition

Such an easy pattern must be honored with a second round about!

All you need are two pieces of your fav fabric at least 31cm wide and 40cm long. You can find the pattern and some general (emphasis on general) step by step instructions here Easiest Baby Romper Ever

Against all odds

Fall season is upon us, and surprisingly enough, my birdies didn't stop growing so we have found that my big girl #2 is too tall now for all those charleston dresses we made last year.

Thankfully, during our summer holiday in London we ad quite some liberty (what else!) fabric to put together some new ensembles.
